Esa Pekka Isomursu
Esa Pekka Isomursu is a doctoral candidate at University of Lapland, Faculty of Art and Design. His research interest is photography, especially verisimilitude of nature landscape images and how a photograph can convey an extended nature experience to the viewer. Formerly, he has done extensive research and published also on User Experience (UX) and fuzzy logic control. He has a diverse educational background in media, software and electrical engineering, and business administration, and work background in both industrial research and academia. He has received both domestic and international awards for his photography. He currently works as Head of Master’s Degree Programmes at Oulu University of Applied Sciences, School of Media and Performing Arts.
